How to Find Your cPanel Username at HostGete
When managing your website, you may need your cPanel username to configure FTP clients, connect to databases manually, or log in via alternative links. At HostGete, you can find your cPanel username using two simple methods: directly from your HostGete Client Area or from within cPanel itself.
Method 1 – From the HostGete Client Area (Recommended)
The fastest way to view your cPanel hosting details is through your HostGete billing account panel.
- Log into your HostGete Client Area.
- Navigate to the Services tab and click on My Services.
- Locate your active cPanel Hosting plan and click the Manage button next to it.

- Username: This is your unique cPanel username (e.g.,
hostgeteuser).

Method 2 – Directly From Inside cPanel
If you are already logged into your control panel session, your username is always visible on the main dashboard layout.
- Access your hosting panel via your direct URL or through the HostGete single sign-on link.
- Look at the right-hand sidebar where the General Information layout panel is located.
- Locate the field labeled Current User. The text string displayed right beneath it is your active login user identification.

???? Important Technical Note: Your cPanel username is automatically generated by our billing system during provisioning to ensure server security compliance. This string is fixed upon account activation and cannot be modified or changed.
