How to Install SSL Certificates in cPanel (AutoSSL)
Securing your website with an SSL certificate is essential for protecting visitor data, building trust, and improving your SEO rankings. At HostGete, an SSL certificate is typically provisioned and installed automatically within a few hours of pointing your domain to our network. However, you can also trigger a manual check to speed up the process.
Automatic SSL Provisioning
By default, our system runs automated validation checks. To ensure your free SSL installs without any technical issues, make sure your domain is pointed to the official HostGete Nameservers beforehand:

Once the nameservers propagate globally, cPanel's AutoSSL engine will secure your domain automatically. If you don't want to wait, you can force the installation manually using the steps below.
Step 1 – Navigate to SSL/TLS Status in cPanel
- Log into your HostGete cPanel account.
- Scroll down to the Security section panel.
- Click on the SSL/TLS Status icon.

Step 2 – Run AutoSSL Manually
Inside the SSL/TLS Status dashboard, you will see a complete overview table listing your primary domain, subdomains, and addon addresses along with their current encryption health metrics.
- From the listed domain registry table, select the checkbox next to the specific domain or subdomain you want to secure.
- Look at the top action bar and click on the blue Run AutoSSL button.

What to Expect Next:
- If the system displays an "AutoSSL is in progress..." notification status, the server is actively communicating with the certificate authority to issue your security keys. This loop usually finishes within a few minutes.
- Once completed, the red warning icons next to your domain will turn into a green padlocks, confirming that your website is fully protected with a valid SSL configuration.
⏳ Pro Tip on Redirection: After your green lock appears, don't forget to enforce an HTTPS redirection rule inside your WordPress settings or cPanel Domains manager so that all incoming web traffic is securely forced to load through encrypted channels automatically!
